1. Article Title
- Your article should have a clear, concise, and compelling title that reflects the content and theme of your post.
- Titles should ideally be under 10 words and should capture the reader’s attention while remaining relevant to the subject matter.
- Example: Exploring Kyoto’s Hidden Gems: A Traveler’s Guide
2. Your Article
- Word Count: We recommend submitting articles between 1,200 to 1,500 words.
- Content: Your article should be informative, engaging, and relevant to Magnificent Japan’s audience. The content must be original, well-researched, and provide value to readers.
- Tone and Style: Maintain a friendly, informative, and professional tone throughout the article. We encourage storytelling, personal experiences, and practical tips for travelers to Japan.
- Formatting:
- Subheadings and short paragraphs are preferred for easier readability.
- Use clear headings (H2, H3) to break down sections.
- Bullet points and numbered lists can help make your article more digestible.
3. Author Bio
- Your Author Bio should be a short, 2-3 sentence description of who you are and what your expertise or experience with Japan is.
- Example: “Jane Doe is a travel writer and Japan enthusiast who has spent the last 5 years exploring Japan’s lesser-known destinations. She shares tips and stories from her journeys on her travel blog.”
- Include any relevant links to your personal blog, website, or social media handles. You may also include a profile photo (recommended size: 200×200 px) to accompany your bio.
4. Images
- Please submit 2 to 5 images that complement the content of your article. These could include photos from your travels, cultural landmarks, or anything that visually supports the points you’re making.
- Ensure that the images are of high quality (min. 1200px width) and appropriate for publication on Magnificent Japan.
- Images must be original, or you must have the rights to use them. Please avoid copyrighted material unless you have express permission to use it.
- Alt text: Each image should have a brief description (50-80 characters) of what it shows, to help with SEO and accessibility.
5. File Format
- Submit your Article as a Word document (.doc, .docx), PDF, or Google Doc.
- Submit Images as JPG, PNG, or TIFF files.
- Upload your files via the form.
6. Agreement
By submitting your guest post, you confirm that:
- The article is original and has never been published elsewhere.
- You agree to Magnificent Japan‘s terms and conditions for guest post submissions.
- You grant Magnificent Japan the rights to publish, edit, and distribute the article.
